The purpose of an infographic is to inform you of a subject in a fun, exciting and creative way. Any kind of statistics that are quantifiable are good to use with a chart of some sort because infographics use a creative and visual approach, so visual information will work better. The creative edge will draw audiences in more so than a different type of chart/graph. They can help everywhere, probably. I have used infographics before in one other class.
